Stan Bowman is the most overrated hockey individual in the division.

Does he count?

See, we have more money over ability examples again. I honestly think Buffalo would be a really great team for Toews to be on. Not sure of their cap situation, but to have a player like Toews it would help that orgnisation immensely.

In the Central, the Jerry award goes to...................Kevin Cheveldayoff (for putting up with Jacob Troubas agent)

In the Central, the George Costanza award goes to...............Ray Shero for his Larsson for Hall trade. Too good not be (still ).

To each their own. Does the other blogger's name rhyme with Flames Fanner, by chance?

I prefer 'Spanner' because he's a tool.

Martin Hanzal... 2 more years at $4.75 million. Career high is 16 goals. Always hurt -and built for the NHL 4-6 years ago. Big, plodding, below avg ability to move laterally and change directions quickly in tight spaces. What was Jim Nill thinking? Someone should do an overrated GM blog. He's gotta be on it.

Hanzal's issue is health, not ability. He's a pretty darn good player when healthy.

I wonder who this is directed at?

"what a (frank)ing dweeb

the one person who def cares is you, because if it wasn't for fans, you'd just be an adblock on here and asking if we want fries with that would be the extent of your self grandiosing masturbation of clickbait cornflake critical thinking skills

I’m not. This is a rare moment where I agree with RW. I’ve always felt he was vastly overrated.
- Rinosaur

I agree, but RW still cries himself to sleep nightly about the arbitrary top 100 list.

Toews has that Messier kind of Leadership

The kind when your team is loaded with talent you win, but then you are just the captain of a team that continually misses the playoffs and can’t get it done

- RoloTahmasee

Agreed. Real leaders like Crosby and Ovechkin win championships single-handedly while playing on a team full of 4th liners and AHL-level goaltenders.

Disagree with this list. Toews is not overrated IMO. He might be over paid but he isnt just a guy that is exactly what every team needs. He is not a big scorer like most guys but he still produces well offensively, excels at his two way game, at leading his team as well as playing PP and PK. Calling Toews overrated is like calling Bergeron overrated.

As for the rest of the list, I never found people to be high on most these names.

Please, don't try to bring in logic when it comes to Pitt fans hating on the Hawks. "We get it, 87 is a better player than 19" doesn't even get the job done these days.
