This is easy. Wrap.

Sandwiches have two pieces of starch that don't touch

A wrap has one open side and the rest is an starch

A dumpling is a something that is completely covered by a starch (so yes a burrito is a dumpling)

- bulet13

So by that logic, every wrap is a dumpling, then. The only reason they have an open side is because they are cut upon completion of construction.

I don't know if I agree with that.

So why would wings be a dumpling?
- MBFlyerfan

A wing is breaded and deep fried. It's a meat covered by a starch

Now if it's not breaded then it's none of the above

Not true. A hotdog with a non broken bun is a wrap but can never be a dumpling

If both made it, my preference would be to just demote Weise and Leier, no one is going to either claim them or trade for them and keep Lehtera and Weal as the spare forwards. Lehtera has value because he can play both center and wing and can penalties in a pinch and Weal is nice reserve to have because he can fill at top 6 role for a short time if needed.
- BiggE

With the train wreck the Habs have had for the last 2 offseasons, you have to wonder if they would take Weise off our hands for a 7th. He played his best hockey there and they are desperate.

Well, I actually mean a traditional wrap, not your made up definition.

And hot dogs can be placed around a roll, and baked that way. So, they can indeed be a dumpling.

What if you eat a hot dog but only use 1 half of the bun? I mean, aside from being a pagan weirdo?

I mean...he kinda did that this year
- YuenglingJagr

Can’t say I watched a ton of Phantom games last year, but I thought/assumed the top guy was Sanheim and Morin (when he was healthy). But I guess Myers was given more chances if Morin’s injuries. Regardless, he wouldn’t get all the ice time at the NHL level this year unless a lengthy injury or trade perhaps. I just don’t want another d prospect watching games again this year I guess.

This is deep. Method of consumption doesn't but the way it is served/made does

Sanheim only played 18 games in the AHL last year. Morin played 15.

There is a log jam at fwd; not a lot of quality but a log jam none the less.

Should have just let leier walk as he no future here imo

Weal is likely the only tradable one.

Weiss seems like Ronald won’t part with a pick or eat any $$ yet to move him; maybe he doesn’t want to move him at all.

Lots of vets on the phantoms as well. So not sure any get waived yet unless pure garbage in camp

So, getting back to my original point. What about a traditional chicken caesar wrap?

If it's served cut in half it's a wrap, but if it's served without the cut, it's a dumpling?

If you're eating a chicken ceaser wrap that's not cut you're a monster

But yes

It is a fair concern and I would bet that he watches a lot due to familiarity, but I believe he is ready and depending on chemistry could end up being a preferred option on the right side over Gudas/AMac/Hagg

Based on the explanations I've read today, I think it depends on how they are folding the wrap. In my experience a wrap can be fully enclosed like a burrito (dumpling) or have an opening at one end making it a wrap by the standards laid out today.

So long story short, a "wrap" could be a dumpling or a wrap depending on how the food creator folds/wraps the food item.

Work is pretty slow today...

What if I weld 2 adjacent sides on my sandwich together, but the leave the other 2 sides open?

I'm not the expert or creator of this list of definitions, but that sounds like a wrap to me.

Then it would just be a small fried chicken.

No one with any sense would ever bread a chicken wing, that is just sick.
