Yeah, I still stand by the bottom 5 prediction, but I can also see why humungous is predicting bottom 10. But this is the Canucks and they do seem to get an inordinate amount of injuries every season.

I agree about the defense, I'm hoping Markstrom gets his act together and weathers the first 3 shots of the game, then Canucks will have a better chance at winning a few extra games.

With the roster as full as it is, I can’t imagine very many waiver exempt guys making the lineup. I think ep will, not dahlen imo.

Very possible. Whatever gets Edler gone is good...lol

I'm actually don't mind MDZ for what he brings.

Hutton on the other hand has steadily trended downward. He know this is a make/break year for him in Van or possibly the NHL in general. Might be a lifetime AHL'er after this season.

man this felton guy has done well. Dumba and Zucker are now locked at solid value. trouba will get 7-7.5 next year Imo but maybe could have been talked down ot 6.5. Seems like they wanted to low ball him and are going to get burned.

Most teams have more swedes than Tampa. I could see him being down to play with stralman and hedman in particular though. Anahiem would also be a good fit, if they are willing to take on a third bad trade

MDZ is what he is. He could be an ok 3rd pairing partner in the right situation as in helping out a prospect. Hutton needs to get serious as JV did. Being a pro & always looking to get better. Ala Crosby.

The D looks to be unimproved. Now better luck on injuries alone is a gain. Scoring wise is another story...can Hutton find his game &/or Stecher pitch in better? There is a real possibility the D could be a surprise.

In goal idk its the hardest to project or predict. Marky like you say has to get out of the gate much better. Do that & games get much more competitive.

I’m certain EP makes the team & has an impact. The opportunity & TOI is there. Dahlen IMO has a 50/50 chance & would force a trade. I hope that happens or an injury call-up.

On other prospects like AG its more intriguing if he’s ready. Lind Gads Palmu etc i want to see impress in training camp & the ex-games, stand out big.
