I see no reason to doubt Benning in this regard... every year he has said he would make room for players that earn it, and every year so far ... he has ! If you feel compelled to worry about his abilities then I suggest focusing on his inability to make worthwhile improving trades , or perhaps his piss poor overpayment record on contracts.

Most fan bases are. That said, Baertschi doesn't make others around him better, he needs guys like Horvat and Boeser to produce. When he was taken off their line his production disappeared.

His career high in points is 35 and he can't stay healthy, good stop-gap player though. He can (frank) off when the kids get some development under their belts.

Nah you can keep him ....we got good value for him in Fat Ras

Sven has a decent tradeable contract if he performs again with Bo. Trade high & free up competition & get more assets. Our prospect pool is good so it has to keep being fresh & competitive. Wingers galore. Cannot always be trading out vets who get less. Don’t get attached to 3rd wheels.

Forming up a team to contend doesn’t rely on a Baertschi unless he gets crazy good. Not likely & he has a year or 2 to prove it.

I have nothing against Sven nor is he a longterm lock by any stretch of the imagination.

Bear isn't overpaid and is good value. He's paid like a third liner who can slide up onto the first if need be.
