Seen some comments on twitter that they wonder if there is more to come? Maybe an Edler trade?

Doubt it, Aquaman wants to try and get some playoff revenue.

I’m thinking TL wasn’t given 100% autonomy.
In the end he wanted out & enjoy life more being a father & all & nothing to prove.

You doubt aqualini wants to try and push for the playoffs?
We will never know, but i would bet that Aquaman wanted to sell future to try and keep us in the playoffs and linden told him to (frank) off.

Farhan seems to think Trev wanted the rebuild done properly and wasn't willing to put his name on what was happening.

1st round playoff revenue, even if swept is the absolute goal of this organization.

You omitted REVENUE.
Every team should push the PO’s every season. Idgaf about owners profits is all.

Youre arguing over nothing. No one gives a (frank) about owner revenue or profit. Thats not what he, or anyone is saying, you are literally yelling at the clouds. We are saying, simply, that this organization has PROBABLY been told by FA to continue to push for playoffs, despite needing a proper rebuild. No one is disputing what you are trying to argue over nothing about

A good owner can identify long term success vs short term success. If FA was smart, a rebuild would have been the best thing for him and the team and no one can argue that. Who says that FA isnt an idiot though, cause he most definitely is

Donny. If we had a mcdavid, or a matthews, or a generational talent, i can see why these stop gap signings would make sense (making the most of a kids prime years) and wanting to compete. But for a bottom 5 team, to go out and sign players to both medium and long term contracts, given their age, while having our prospects just be on the cusp of making a name for themselves, then tell me that ownership and management are not striving for playoffs each and every year.

COMPETE

WHO said PO’s every year? Just you.
Compete means not be door mats & allow the team to be built from drafting. Stop gaps are not in the way nor were. LE was most likely FA dreaming it was an instant panacea. Bottom 5 the past years was going to happen. Not easy to out suck those teams that came in last & the lottery guarantees nothing if you’d payed attention. We still draft well & time is on our side & the latest UFA signings are not stopping prospects making the team nor anchors on the cap in any which way.
