Mark Hunter had a lot to do with where the leafs are now. I wouldnt vote blindly on a person because of his past employment if i thought he would have a positive influence on the direction of the organization and team

Hunter did almost nothing for the Leafs.
He drafted Matthews 1st overall.
He drafted Marner 4th overall, in an insanely strong top 10 draft.
Other than that, his drafting was terrible.
His pro scouting was also pretty weak.
Please show me where he did something that would have you believe he would be a good GM for you. |

Neely has been overruled by his GM multiple times.
Sakic's tenure is far from anything to point to.
Same with Snow.
The cap is in okay shape. The term of contracts on this team will be an issue.
