Adam I think Strome isn't Calder eligible anymore having played 7 and 21 games in the last 2 seasons.
To be eligible for the award, a player cannot have played any more than 25 regular season games previously in any single season, nor have played in more than six regular season games in each of two separate preceding seasons in any major professional league |

Last I checked both 7 and 21 were less than 25 |

Looks like Tanner is changing his blogs up a bit, about time he ditched that crappy "this is the song I am currently listening to" while he writes. |

The year Dylan Strome stays in the NHL and is actually good.
I'm a believer on that one.
It's now or never. - Scabeh
Ya, the yotes have done a lot of things right, and developed a good pool of young talent. But until they develop and put up NHL numbers, its hard to get too hyped. Who knows, if they dont drop their first 20 games this season, they could actually finish mid pack in the West. Decent record to close out the second half of the NHL season. |

Not sure how that works as he is on his second year of the entry level contract...But I wouldn't worry about Strome being a calder candidate. Great size/hands/shot, but his speed is a big question mark. Plus he will be their 3C at best this season and doubt he can bump out Keller on the PP |

I’m 99% sure Strome is no longer eligible for the Calder. Bummer, because I also thought he’d take a run, but he already in to his sophomore slump season, before really getting a shot to be a rookie. |
