He needs yo do something like what was suggested...just tough dealing Okposo...who would want him except a bottom feeder to make the floor.

Would love to see it, but not thinking it is in ghe cards

- IonSabres

Best case scenario to try & trade Okposo is probably to wait till next offseason

Play him with Jack this year, and keep him on PP1, and that should get his points back up to where we can move him

I heard sabres were talking to habs, wild and blue jackets

3 or 4 guys for 1

more purging of the roster my guess

Makes sense
We do have extras
Especially if Botts is ready to have some of the kids like Thompson and Guhle play up here

Who’s saying the Cap is an issue now?
The issue is giving a long term deal to a guy who’s 29

- jdfitz77

If the cap isn’t an issue or won’t be an issue like you’ve repeatedly said, then who cares about the term?

Bc it’s dumb to be paying someone into their late30s - especially big $$$

Not bc we couldn’t afford it,
Bc it’s a bad just bad business

Are u actually being serious with this nonsense?

Gives us a little wiggle room
I’d think we at least wanna be down to 47

Definitely a few guys i don’t see us keeping after their ELCs expire this year too

Karabacek, Martin & probably Cornel are not re-signed

I didn’t “make it up”

It’s logical to assume he wants a long term deal
It’s even been reported as so

Nice try though

“In any extension with Habs”

It also says 6-8 years.

So yes, you made up that he wants 8 years

It’s not like i said he will accept only an 8x8 deal jackass
U know exactly what i meant

And i know u also think it’s a bad idea to give him even the Kane 7x7 deal

U just looking to argue with someone tonight?
Let’s at least pick a subject u legit disagree with me on instead of nitpicking my phrasing

Patch wants a long term deal
At least imo, it’s not worth giving up assets to risk that he’d choose to see what’s available in free agency instead of signing a shorter extension with us

I like him as a player,
But his age/contract situation doesn’t seem like a good fit for us... imo

Taking the Bar exam tomorrow...8 hours tomorrow; 8 hours wednesday.

Can't (frank)in wait...I was startin to lose my poop after 2 straight months of studying.

Potential on wed. night for a vintage Feetontheair drunk rant is at probably 91%

Statute of Frauds = MYLEGS

Rule against perpetuaties= a life in being + 100 years.

6 elements for breach of contract.

4 elements for torts.

Make sure to take a high sugar snack and a high protein snack for mid-day both days.

You’ll do fine - they’re only looking to weed out the idiots and crooks.

.46ppg compared to .56 ppg

One is at his peak at 25 yrs old, and you know what that peak age means.......

I’m busting balls, but yes I agree no to a 7-8 year deal.

But again, there’s a difference between Patches and Kane.

Patches has 5 30 goal seasons. Never played with ANYONE like Eichel.

Even with the normal regression of a 29-30 year old, he’d still be an excellent compliment to Eichel.

Kane was good. Not Patches good (I know Pacioretty had a down year)
