I'm not sure who it is, but I am hoping that he is targeting a younger player...in the 22 yrs range.
- IonSabres

26 & under is the age range imo

Tough to say who he might be going after

No thanks
Good player, but he wants an 8x8 deal
He’s too old for us to do that
Doesn’t fit our timeline

And no, i don’t think he’d sign a 4 or 5 year deal with us

Why would he when he can go to free agency & get at least 7x7?

- jdfitz77

I haven't seen anything, anywhere other than you guys saying he wants this much

Also given his age isn't it possible, even more likely now with how GM's are being careful giving out 7 and 8 year deals to aging players, that he would take a 6 year deal?

I would give him $6.5-$7 million over 6 years

Maybe?
But why would he do that extension with us
You gotta think he’d at least go to free agency & see what’s out there before agreeing to a 6 year deal

I'm being facetious, because last time he told me I was childish for posting that, I figured he would get the joke but it's no surprise you got confused.

Then why didn't Evander test free agency?

Montreal is such a mess maybe he would enjoy playing in Buffalo.

Maybe he would like to be the good veteran player playing with one of the best young centers in the league on an up and coming team.

All a bunch of “maybes”
I’m not trading good assets for that
No way

If he’d agree to a reasonable extension (5yrs max, imo)... then ok
But that’ll up the trade cost on him too

it's a good thing you're a bartender
and not a bar manager

what with these wild takes
"NO MORE PBR BOTTLES!!"
and I dread how you would treat
the liquor well
"JACK DANIELS ONLY NONE OF THAT IRISH SH!T"

or

"WOMEN DRINK FOR FREE MEN PAY DOUBLE!"
not like your spot would
be any different from any other place
on a weekend in allentown
where
a roofie a day
keeps the herpes away

old stone hands had the skill of always being the right place. I gotta think he is very smart about the hockey game.. slower than dirt and couldn't shoot yet made one hell of a career out of always being the right place
- IndianaSabresFan

He was pretty damn fast. Like Girgensons, people think he's slow for some reason. Maybe his short area quickness was lacking, but once he got on his horse few could catch him.

Huh?
Are u talking about Grier?

I definitely don’t ever remember him being fast
His lack of speed was probably exaggerated a bit... but no one was ever gonna confuse him with Max or any other good skater
