Does ketchup in hot water count as tomato soup?

Yeah, but only if Gerbe is making microwaved chicken wings to go with it

If josh Allen is a bust then will wait Another decade for a quarterback
- gerbe75pts

Let's not go there. they need to invest the proper training and time to ensure he is successful...even it means him riding the bench for the season.

I hope he can however get on the field at about the 2/3rds point because he is showing the proper signs

I think Sheary is a 23/22 guy

45 points is about right for him playing in the top 6

Also for Homie:

You would think there is at least one more move to be made before camp starts.

Botts has to address the lack of LWer talent, the crazy number of LHD and LWers right?

Right?

Please tell me I am right haha

- Stripes77

From homie post I get that Botts is in desperation mode and if he doesn't get it ..

he's just going to go with the roster he has

Exactly. We have no idea what this team is with those additions. New goaltending, new 2C, new top defender...we could have just as bad of a season next year...but to pretend that it's headed that way is pessimistic, for numerous reasons, the big 3 additions only being one of them.
- RhinoFan

And just think of how excited we’ve been for Guhle since he almost made the team 3yrs ago
We (wisely, imo) let him develop slowly,
and now when we clear a spot for him we should see Guhle be able to contribute to that defense in a meaningful way too

Still a lot of new pieces we need to mesh
But there’s definitely reason to be optimistic
Dahlin was the key
I was saying all year that winning this past lotto was more important than getting Eichel
We’ve got our cornerstones though
Just need to add a goal scoring winger or 2,
and a really good 2 way Center
Sucks that Kane & O’Reilly just didn’t work out for us for whatever reasons
Bc i think we are definitely a playoff team if those 2 are still here

We are moving forward though
And i’m hopeful that Botts can (eventually) surround these guys with the help we need to become legit contenders

Yea you’re not wrong. I think out of the past 5 years though I think this is the most talent they’ve had going into a season. Who knows though, there are always teams that exceed expectations and some that don’t quite reach their projections like Florida has the past couple of years.
- Pegullaville

Florida exceeds expectations 3 years ago...and fires Gallant.
Gallant goes to LV and exceeds expectations

who was the ass-hat that fired Gallant?
I know Rowe...but man they F'd that up big time ... hope the Boogy-man can lead them forward again.

Panarin wouldn't sign in Columbus, wtf makes us think he would sign here?

Unless we just throw a 3 year deal at him, no (frank)ing way he signs long-term.

We got Sheary for nothing basically
So even if he doesn’t work out,
no big deal
Very good trade imo

So he's in the exact opposite of desperation mode? If he was in desperation mode, he would overpay.

I’m targeting werk10 for Allen
But i doubt he gets in if we are in the 5-5 neighborhood

Would be good for him to get 4-6 games in this year imo

sabres trying to make a last minute splash

was told habs, wild, and blue jackets were the teams talking to

multi bodies going out, 1 coming back

no names mentioned but I assume Pacioretty, Zucker, Niederreiter, no clue from blue jackets

- homiedclown

Blue Jackets have a bunch of guys they can ship out, but if it's just 1 person coming back, I don't see it. They need to dump salary, and Nick Foligno would be a perfect example of that and we aren't shipping out multiple guys for the other Foligno brother, even if he is the good one.

I'd say Atkinson but he's the same age as Pacioretty and not as good, IMO. They have Ryan Murray and David Savard to offer on the back end.

I'd still take Pacioretty. American player, good on-ice ethic. Buffalonians will blow their load over his "blue-collar style".

The Wild are always a good trade partner for us, so we will see about them.

Can't (frank)in wait...I was startin to lose my poop after 2 straight months of studying.

Potential on wed. night for a vintage Feetontheair drunk rant is at probably 91%

No thanks
Good player, but he wants an 8x8 deal
He’s too old for us to do that
Doesn’t fit our timeline

And no, i don’t think he’d sign a 4 or 5 year deal with us

Why would he when he can go to free agency & get at least 7x7?

I'm not sure who it is, but I am hoping that he is targeting a younger player...in the 22 yrs range.
