Having just read the blog I must say that UG is right. Leafs absolutely need to be in on Karlsson. Gardiner, Liligren/Sandin or 2019 first, Nylander.

Well that's the thing right. All this "cap trouble" talk is really not an unworkable problem.

Yet, not one single comment I have made has mentioned none of that. I have stated over and over I don't feel Toronto is a contender and I have shown my exact reasoning for it. If you feel someone saying "not being a contender" is the same as being terrible, that's your own personal issue you have to take care of. If other people have said things that I have not and you do not have the ability to separate the two, then that's your own personal issue you have to deal with.

I have already had reasonable conversations with other Leafs fans, it's obvious not all Leafs fans are tools, just like I am not all Flyer fans. I am told I am going around to all these blogs talking about Leafs to "my buddies", but no one in the Flyer blogs are mentioning the Leafs? Wasn't I told yesterday that Leaf Nation was the center of the universe because of other fans, not them, but no one is mentioning the Leafs? Then I just happen to read a Leaf blog, like I do all blogs, and read the comments, but my name is popping up like porn on the internet...weird, but again no one is mentioning Leafs in the Flyer blogs.

Yes, I am the guy who said "Max term was 5 years, don't you follow the CBA"....over 3 years ago. Is there context to it, yup, but no one will go back and read it. Did I correct the mistake literally right after I said it, yup, but it doesn't matter. Could I of edited it? Yup, but I didn't. It was 2:30 AM, I was drunk and current off-season CBA discussions mentioned a possible change to have a max 5 year term as an option and I mistakenly used it and looked like an ahole. Does anyone remember the other 99% of the conversation, probably not because it's the internetz and I ended up being right. Even Frenchy carried my name around like a badge of honor for a long time. At least I can admit to being wrong, unlike others.
