Like most expected somebody or maybe a couple names gotta go. Tavares is making 11mil v the cap for 7-8 years. You have to think Mathews the actual franchise player gets 11mil per for 8, unless they smartly do a OV type deal end it to like 13-15 years.. knock AAV down to round 9.5-10mil.

Nylander probably in the 7mil range per once you get done with those 3 guys almost half the cap is tied up.

Nucks fans are wanting to trade Lillybust and 1st for a top 4 d (not sure where they're getting one from) and taking on the two years of Hortons LTIR

That's why it was great to see the Marlies absolutely rip the arsehole out of the AHL. That team is stacked with wingers on their ELCs and under cost control for years to come. Added to that the dmen on ELCs and the Laffs are in go e shape.

Cheap wingers the Laffs have now and over the next few years are Hyman, Ennis, Brown, Johnsson, Kapanen, Leivo, Grundstrom, Engvall, Timashov, Moore, Bracco, Marchment (we do 4th liner not higher) and Brooks (he's a centre). Then Korshkov, Stotts down the road.

There's no issue filling in the wings with good players.

1, Well there are Jets fans a lot higher on Myers than me but I honestly see him as a third pair D on a good team. I wouldn’t pay him anymore than 4.5 on a 3 year deal
2. I think the jets are offering 6 - 7 on a long term deal and I think Trouba is asking for 7.5 - 8 but that is purely a guess on my part.
