I believe he was or could have been. He was (frank)ed in the ass right from the get go but that rookie season showed there was a glimpse of a player in him. Murray hasnt shown anything. If he wasnt picked first over all there is a very good chance he played back in Sarnia the next year and got brought up on time, maybe he could have learnt a thing or two along the way instead of being thrown in the deepend with a piano strapped to his feet.

Bennett is looking more and more like a bust. Ehlers, Draisaitl, Larkin, Reinhart, and Pastrnak seem to be the only forwards worth mentioning from that draft. Bennett, Dal Colle, Ho-Sang, Kapenen all seem to developing below expectations.

I saw an 18 yr old kid who cam here from Russia who barely spoke the language excel in his first year then get torn to shreds for 3 years after every single day by the coaches and media alike. All I'm saying is, it was apparent he hadn't built him self enough cofidence to play in the NHL they should have slowed down and sent him down until he was ready. The kid had heart anyone who disagrees with that has mental issues. Look at his goal celebrations that kid was 100% heart but this organization broke him in two and certainly didn't do anything to help him after the fact.

Anaheim- players are mostly goofs.
Arizona- Bettman wet dream is a nightmare. They should (frank) off to Quebec.
Boston- I like Boston and loved watching them smash the Leafs.
Buffalo- they suck and their fans over rate their best players. It’s unfortunate.
Carolina- Beat my Oilers in the SCF then proceeded to be a below average team .
Calgary- Hilarious fans think every prospect in their system is amazing when most turned out to be average at best, save a couple.
Chicago- way too many goofs with sticks up their asses in those threads who equate hockey knowledge with their team’s success. Total goofs.
Columbus- I like CBJ but I’m not sure why,
Colorado- Clause Lemieux is my all time favorite Player, mostly with the Devils but he was awesome in Colorado too. Plus John Denver wrote some great music.
Dallas- mostly all goofs and I hate them for all the playoff wars you dippoop millenials missed out on cuz you were sucking on mamas teats.
Detroit- had a few drafts where they found HOF players outside the 1st round but in preality they had a lot of poopty drafts. Overrated. (frank) off. I loved when Lemieux smashed Drapers face in.

I wouldn’t call it a “miss” on Draisaitl. Both players are good. Draisaitl brings more offense and physicality and Reinhart does EVERYTHING else better.
