Glak is interesting. Kind of a dippoop. Shoot amp guy defended Hoffman’s girlfriend by comparing her to Hitler. That takes the cake for me. Until sensnucksnocups comes back. - YzermanTheMan
We have a winner.
Please provide a link to that quote please. Which we both know won't happen or you do find the quote and find it was someone else. Then we know who the "dippoop" is. |

Not really. Just bring like $100 USD. That's like $1000 Canadian. - PatC80
yes, then use the 1000 dollars to buy a million dollar toronto home that cost 50 bucks in the 70's. |

James Gunn fired from Guardians 3 - AdamFrench
It's ridiculous.
Fired for poop he said a decade ago that was already known before he even got hired. Something he already apologised for and hasn't said anything like it since. |

That's interesting, what exactly don't you like about them? Is it just the movie adaptions or just fantasy genre in general? |

there are way too many of them and i have no interest in any of them. too juvenile. how many times are people supposed to watch the same type of cookie cutter movie over and over again? how many batman, spiderman, superman movies do people really need? you can add star wars to this also. i also hate harry potter and lord of the rings or almost anything disney. what i would like to see is a transformers cgi movie true to the characters of the 80's cartoon but of course hollywood had to (frank) that up to. i would also like to see a quality thundercats movie, not some director's or writer's new vision for a modern thundercats film and characters. |

At first I would say you are just not a fan of fantasy and sci-fi, which my father was like that. He always said if it can't happen in real life then I don't want to watch a movie about it. But then you want a Thundercats movie, which that is my bread & butter growing up, same with Voltron.
I think you have more issues with how the movies are made then what the movies are. I think we live in a time now that unique entertainment, especially movies, have been exhausted and creativity crushed. The only option is to constantly take existing source material and try to modernize it by trying to introduce new people to it, but also cater to people already familiar with it. I think if a Thundercats movie was done it would never live up to your fond memories or expectations.
The beauty of fantasy and sci-fi is they never have to follow rules. I find most movies based on comics to be pretty decent because of that. Take Batman for example, there has never been A single Batman or A single Joker there has been many variances of both. So one person may like a certain Batman or Joker and not another, but in the end they are both Batman and Joker. |

Oh it was dreamy all right. I knew a guy that was at work, and after he disappeared for a while they found him stripped to his underwear in the bathroom with all the taps running. Ha ha ha. They had to quietly drag him outside and lay him down under a peaceful tree for a while. - Zezel

the only reason studios keep rehashing these movies is money. everyone runs to the theatre as soon as the new comic book character movie comes out. nerds everywhere splooging their pants for all the characters of their youth coming to life on screen over and over again. it also doesn't help that there are a lot of older comic book nerds who are parents and these kids/young adults grew up with comic book conditioning. |

Where are you hoping to move to? TO? - Arctic_AARDVARK
Toronto is the goal if I can afford living there right from the start. Or at least like Kitchener, Mississauga, maybe even London though that's a bit farther. |
