A 20 year old kid was in a trench in the front of a house he was working on. Trench collapsed and fully buried him. Neighbours got his face clear with shovels before the first rescue crews arrived but his head was level with the footing of the foundation and there was a lot of pressure on his abdomen and lower body.

I was on the roof to tie off a ladder that was over the trench being used as part of the hauling system which s used to pull him out once the Badger truck was able to clear away enough of the loose earth.

He could still be really hurt but he was alive when we got him out.

Oh Moraine Lake is amazing!! I try to go there once a year to sit and stare at it all. Perfect place to ponder and yearn

get adventurous boys... plan a winter weekend, head out with shovels and skates...

play hockey the way it was meant to be played

your fingers, toys and other extremities frozen.

Babcock said he pictured Tavares playing with Zach Hyman and Mitch Marner, and Matthews with Patrick Marleau and William Nylander. If Johnsson was on the 'next line' he could be used with Kadri and possibly Kasperi Kapanen or Connor Brown.

Hmmm

I guess thats what you guys were talking about before.

Yeah lots of tourists real busy. But still worth going. The tourists that get me upset are the ones stopping on the side of the roads trying to get selfies with moose or the bighorn sheep or even a black bear. Ive seen people get way too close lol its not a petting zoo people!

As a sabre fan, I dislike both of these teams alot (Montreal and Toronto). As a hockey fan, there is nothing better than seeing these two teams open the season against each other. This is what hockey is all about.

You do sound like a good hockey fan.I dont here too much hate from you.

I try to be the same and not go yapping about other teams but Its hard not to on here. Especially being public enemy number 1 the Leaf fan.

It's really satisfying being part of something like that. This kid has his whole life in front of him and it was so close to being snuffed out tragically early.

Much respect for your position/post.

I spent a lot of years hating the Sabres. The 99 ECF and years of being owned on both sides of the border made me pretty salty.

Then both teams sucked for a long time. Now with the Leafs on the upswing I would really like to see Buffalo improve so the rivalry can be renewed. I may be singing a different tune once Dahlin starts to hit his stride though.

So not related but since it's the dog days of summer I don't mind being off topic.

But I'm graduating college this fall for engineering and I really want to and always have wanted to move to Canada/Ontario. If anyone wanted to share their thoughts about living in Canada, it would be much appreciated.

Not really. Just bring like $100 USD. That's like $1000 Canadian.

Yup I lost one of my close friends to a working accident

Work safety is very serious and having workers and co workers aware and trained for workers safety in situations like that is vital

Glad he will be okay

Glak pulled into the lead for the most butthurt fan on Hockeybuzz.

It might be a competition if Doppelganger had the guts to show up and go derp to derp.
