Not a fan of Stecher, but, 2 years at 2.3 million is fairly reasonable. This should allow some of the younger defensemen in the system some development time.
Was interesting seeing how high Brackett was on Jett Woo. Really like the decision making process the team has at the draft table, with the input from the key people, in regards to who they pick, the value of trading down picks and seeing these guys in their elements, as opposed to having them interviewed, which in Benning's case, at least, is definitely not a strong point.
