That’s cuz you hate the leafs and aren’t being logical - Redmile247
Hate? Its born upon a pitiful foundation of watching 4pm garbage for decades. Same as listening to the press talk about every lil hangnail Tiger gets. Gimme more of the Sosa McGwire & Bonds crap while we are at it.
CBC makes money & hockey fans are consumers of purveyed crap. Give us the Cleveland Browns on MNF every week. |

Tiger has done nothing but treat people like absolute crap his entire life. He is a disgusting human being. I hope he crashes & burns today and the next time we hear about him is when he is caught trying to hold up a Jack in the Box buck naked after escaping The Betty Ford Clinic. - Marwood
Never liked him at all. Arrogant wiener.

I wouldn’t mind Rory winning either ...nice putt - Redmile247
Tiger is dropping like a rock. Should be a good finish |

There is that , but my opinion is more about how does Buston or JT react after finding out they are not top banana.
When Leafs try and low ball Wilma and her new contract and Mitch next year who might be their real best player.
They got rid of a lot of toughness , agitation and goals last year. They brought in one big name to replace everything. - VANTEL
They seem to do a good job of bringing along prospects so I think cap wise they might be ok ....but they do need to figure out that defence ... they can make trades tho
Canucks have done well at drafting guys who can potentially step in on ELC to help cap issues but they aren’t in that position yet
Flames need a few ELC guys to step in in the next few years ... I’m not too confident in their ability to develop players properly tho |

Flames are in bad shape . They keep throwing things at the wall and nothing sticks so they start over again. I expect the Flames to be bottom three or four of the division again. I don't think they had a good summer at all.
I honestly believe the Leafs lost a big part of their positive identity this year. Of course they will find an answer to the cap but they will give up things to reach it.

D prospects look solid but after that its pretty weak. Goalie prospects are fine but Bennett is overrated & wasn’t developed. The funk he is in makes JV look better & better & that isn’t saying much. |

Facing a cap crunch around the corner & lost JVR for nothing was a pretty poor job of management. Rebuild was solidly underway but fastraking on hope wasn’t wise. Lack of shutdown D & so-called patience isn’t looking too good IMO. I’ll give Dubas a bit of a pass for the time being but LL hasn’t done anything good in years. Not surprised he was let loose & NYI hiring him isn’t looking very good. On top of that the Leafs lost Hunter & by all accounts he will be missed.

I believe JT is a classy guy but AM hardly.
Crosby & Malkin are good examples of 2 star C’s that co-exist. Its yet TBD how JT & AM work together. It could be dynamic or a circus. Not much separates it going either way. |

I think SJ being the clear cut winners in our division this year.
I think Vegas will drop 20 pts with a sophomore year and really they are not that talented.
I see Ducks and Kings dropping in the standings age and slowness the factor.
I think Flames Canucks and Oilers will all be within 6 points of each other in the 80 -86 pt range
Arizona clear cut losers. The team is a joke

I definitely don’t think the flames are in bad shape lol they upgraded their secondary scoring tremendously ...they have young talent to good contracts ....the big question marks will be Smiths health and how Hanifin plays
The leafs added John tavaras ...he had the ability to make you and lefty 15-20 goal scorers ...their top 9 will be very dangerous and score a lot |

On the Flames i like both Monahan & Backlund. Too bad not enough good wingers to go around. None in the system but Neal was a nice signing. |

Flames look pretty good coming into the year, Nucks aren’t anywhere near as good as Flames.

The thing about Bennett is he isn’t playing like a top pick and that’s the flames fault for crushing his confidence and creativity ...but he plays a good game still and is effective ...if he could learn to put an end the dumb penalties |

You brought in James Neal and removed Ferland which is a wash.
Lindholm didn't even have as many points as an old slow Daniel Sedin. Hold the press Flames signed an 40 point player |

Neither are going anywhere.
One is a sad team the other an enigma.
Flames get it together they might win a round. |
