I was in a grocery store yesterday I seen a guy wearing a leafs jersey with "toews" on the back.... out of my curiosity I decided to ask him as to why... he then asked me if I've been living under a rock this past month because "John" is now a leaf... at this point I thought it was necessary to ruin his day and told him he got the wrong "john" put on his back.. whoever embroidered it probably had a field day laughing... regardless before I walked away he was proclaiming how much of a die hard fan he was... I simply asked him when the leafs won the cup last and he answered..... 2001..... so there you have it now that we have a good team all the closet fans are out and or the new "die hard" leaf fans are born....

That is an ignorant statement considering I am Canadian and located within 40 mins of Toronto and a Flyers fan. There are actually a lot of Flyers fans in Canada.
