I will and if they do finish 1st or 2nd then I will high five you, otherwise I will wiggle my finger. No question a playoff team, how well they continue to gel and develop will determine if they last longer than a disappointing first round exit.

-Young forwards like Lindblom, Patrick and Konecny are more experienced.(Especially -Konecny, his play improved significantly from start of last season to the end.

-JVR - 36 goals only averaged like 15 mins on Toronto per game
-Healthy Nolan Patrick(Was affected by his hernia surgery for most of the season)
-No 10 game losing streak

I would say they should be improved given these changes. Nothing easy about being on par with some of the best teams in the east though.

he had some good games and had some bad ones. boston is pretty beastly though and it's not like toronto's d likes to keep chances to a minimum.

still, a .918 type guy over 60+ games is decent. no reason to look for another goalie anyway.

Well defense is an issue for sure, but goaltending is above average. Not too bad in the regular season numbers, very Steve Mason like numbers, but the playoffs were terrible.
