I agree. It might take Hajek 3 months to make the big club, but if it happens for him or any other prospect, the Rangers will now have that information.

I'll add that I think Gorton will definitely make some deals but he'll do them in season when he has a better grasp on Quinn and the roster.... and hopefully other teams are more desperate.

In season deals seem to create better returns than offseason ones.

It's just odd to me. After the Larry Brooks article saying the team wasn't going to let the rookies go out there next year and get slaughtered and then the team wanting to add some veteran leadership to it. But they haven't done anything. I know there is still time but its just strange
