The expectations for a guy who will probably start on the third line in Rochester are crazy.

Basically looks like the same numbers as last year with Kane and ROR

But a bottom 10 team

Botts better be looking for a legit winger

I agree with your first and 3rd points, but that's not counting what the defense and goaltending does, which could impact the standings dramatically. We 💯% still need an elite/very good winger though

The problem is we both have zero clue what the goaltending could be total disaster or legit

Right now im in the middle I like Hutton but he’s only had elite defense save him

If he sucked then wouldn’t that mean the Sabres should play him more ?

The team was just super bad and still is there was zero tanking last year

We played hungry rookies and Jack Eichel at the end of the year when we weren’t even close to clinching

If we’re tanking they would have never played the rookies or jack or any of the star players

They could have called up Molasses if they wanted to tank

- gerbe75pts

They did everything right to get dahlin. That's why I like jbotts.

If they were trying to not get dahlin, the Russian, zardina or tkucuck then you should be really disappointed in jbotts.

He should be fired if they were trying to win the cup last year with his additions.

I'm done dude. You keep thinking they tried to win and now we are going to be bottom 3-5 again.

My opinion stands

But if botts wants to win he needs to get some wingers you can’t lose if you score more goals lol

I don’t think any of us would care if we get 3 or 4 on us but we score 5 to win

The entire team is nothing but question marks. Trying to predict which way this is gonna go is really tough. The default position of course, after years of this tire fire, is that it's going to be bad. That may be true. But we have new key pieces at 2C, 1D, 1+2G. Can each one of those guys go off at different times? What if Hutton carries us through October, Mitts explodes in November and Dahlin is a good 1D by December?

Are we gonna get depth scoring + D scoring?

I have no idea what this team is

Here's my bold prediction: we'll get a goal from a defenseman before mid-november. That should help
- jcragcrumple

We have at least 5-8 defenseman goals before mid November .

We are going to be competitive. I cant believe that people on this Sabres board aren't excited and feel like were gonna bottom out

We just sucked.. zero tanking explain why he played jack or the hungry rookies

And he took Robin out for games

Listen , no one agrees with me on the fact that we as an organization wanted to pick a top talent in the draft last year. Housley jizzed his pants when we won the lottery.
Our owners have proven before, that losing is ok, to get high end talent.

The best defenseman possibly ever comes out, and we wouldn't want him?

Jack played because of bonuses and union bs. You cant not play or pay a healthy guy of his caliber

Guhle was a hungry rookie in Rochester?
Wouldn't we have won more games with him then tennyson?
Bailey and baps never got a shot with real talent
Cj smith , leading in Rochester, but they call up cristo

Lehner was terrible, but fortunately we signed Chad, who is also terrible.

Dude I genuinely feel bad for you.

This O’Reilly trade wrecked you.

I went through this after the Kane trade.

It gets better

Felt the same way when Darcy traded since Stanley cup winner brad may for Geoff Sanderson

Harvard law graduate and cup winner Brian burke traded for may 3 times.

Hamilton should have done his homework, plain and simple. He never even backtracked or apologized. He just finnaly wrote that they did get him help. It was a bush-league move on Hamilton's part that made the Sabres look bad and gave Antipin an excuse. His misinformation about that is still bouncing around today.

I don't view him as a reporter. He's a radio personality

Will still be at the bottom he’s probably going to get 15-20g maybe 15a I’m not expecting him to light it up his rookie year maybe 30-40 points
