Should the Tampa Bay Lighting trade Sergachev?

If we are Stevie Y, we know that cap managing is going to be essential moving forward. The team already has $53m tied up for 20-21. Both goalies need new contracts with AV likely getting north of 7m per season. Karlsson if moved there will be a 9.5-10.5 cap hit. Sergachev is an RFA and will be MUCH higher than his 0.9 against the cap he is now. So the be benefit of not trading him is having him for 2 seasons (with EK, Hedman, & McDonagh) EASILY the best top 4 on the back end in years. But after that you have to resign him and will have lost Foote++.

Keeping Stralman over Sergachev would allow Tampa to retain Foote (who would be on entry level for 3 years AFTER Stralman plays in that right side of the top 4). It would be a nice transition and wouldn't mean Tampa has to give other prospects. Here is the package (or something like it) if Sergachev isn't moved:

Package of 2 NHL D-men and 2 good D-prospects along with Raddysh; not to mention the package will likely include a Palat or Johnson in place

D Anton Stralman
D Braydon Coburn
F Taylor Raddysh
D Cal Foote
D Libor Hajek

Thoughts?

If Foote and Cirrelli are part of the package, I can live without Sergachev's inclusion.

Yashin

I know he's hated now, but Yashin was pretty fun to watch the few years he was a fan favorite.

Man did he ever have a fall from grace.

I know there are a poop ton of players who've been heavily criticized in Ottawa, and most of them really didn't deserve it....was mostly stupid media or unrealistic fans who ostracized them.

Yashin was definitely a player who deserved the criticism, and 100% brought it on himself. Him and Heatley are the 2 guys I can think of who truly deserved the criticism they got, and probably should have gotten more.

I would like to remind everyone about a player named Mike Underwood. I loved that dude.

Oh! And Vaclav Prospal, and Radek Bonk (although neither have laced up in a number of years).
