Nobody really knows if Lyon can be an NHL starter. And people put a lot of faith in Stolarz limited performance as a rookie before anyone had a book on him. He has looked very much like an AHL/ECHL goaltender since then. HE won't even be in the system in 19-20.

I would be comfortable going with Elliott and Lyon of the Flyers can get something valuable (sound veteran defender, legit 3C, 1st/2nd round pick) for him.

You have stated numerous times that Ron Hextall is a terrible GM, multiple occasions have stated the worst GM in the league and just recently said "Ronald so far has failed his team by not acquiring good goalie."

Ok so you have a bias towards Ron Hextall for some reason and obviously not for logical reasons.

So the reason Hextall is terrible is because he has yet to acquire a goaltender who will win them a cup, obviously not a goaltender who wins games or goaltenders who can help the team make the playoffs since that has been accomplished already. So for Hextall to succeed he must acquire a goaltender to win the cup, which they have not.

What's the point of acquiring a goaltender? Yes, I am asking that point blank to find out where your delusional thinking is coming from. The simple answer once again is to improve the team, but......

The team has 4 goaltenders under pro level contracts already. So your simple minded response would be "Well they need someone better".

For a second time now, who exactly is out there for the Flyers to acquire? Remember the the names listed must follow these rules of logic:

1) Goaltender must be acquired for free or very little current or future assets, otherwise how are they getting better if they are giving up assets they need.

2) The player and/or team must be willing to to accept the Flyers offer. In reality trades and signings are 2-way streets, this isn't a video game, both parties have to agree. Saying trade this player is unacceptable because if the Flyers don't want them why would someone else?

So now...AGAIN...list the goaltenders Ronald should acquire to make this team better to win a stanley cup. You are on the clock.

Yes he has failed this team, the nhl team he is the general manager of, so far by not getting an upgrade to the most important position in all of sports. To go into the season with the average andys he has is plain dumb. To wait for hart to come around may be a day that may never come, then what?
