It's my understanding that Eklund and Meltzer were in attendance for events such as this in the past, and the hope would be to gather as many of us lunatics as possible. Friends and family obviously welcome!

We settled on the Delta Dental Icegirls and Bob Kelly after some seriously angry side thread fighting that led to a few rifts, a bunch of departures from the main thread and a cease and desist of the buzzgates (except for a few hush, hush ones we pulled off later).

The second one got a little out of hand. There was some property destruction, a lot of drunken people and at least one beer bottle throwing incident. When they started playing beer pong in the lot at midnight I decided I should take the kid home.

Fall should be fine through Halloween. April could be rainy. Not familiar with indoor facilities but most have ice from September through April. We did a regular weekly inline skate in Buffalo from April through August. Great time.

Phillies going to lose out on Machado because they don't want to part with a 19 year old pitching prospect, pitchers who are damn near impossible to project one way or another as a major leaguer at that age mind you. Ugh.

I guarentee you they're going to turn around and trade for Cole Hamels now because they'll never let us forget 2008.

Obviously they have the money but I don't have a ton of faith that on the open market he chooses Philly over some other teams. I was in favor of the trade because they can back the truck up to him now and his agent would be all over him to accept the offer while it's on the table.
