True. But Hayes thus far is a .56 ppg player. Lindholm is .51 ppg. Not much difference. Now the term is what I want to avoid on Hayes. Not the cap number.

No. Hayes is 26. He's not gonna get much better than he already is. Hayes, Spooner, Vlad and Vesey all interchangable. All 4 can be replaced.

I think one of the things that sets Hayes apart from those other names is the faceoffs

when he was a rookie he was astonishingly bad on draws, but he has really really worked on it and improved dramatically
