Zacha's ceiling is a 30 point player. We all knew it wasn't a good pick when they made it. Barzal is amazing and will the the new face of NYI franchise with JT gone. Provorov and Werenski will be top 2 D for the next decade. And we have a player who's like Jay Pandolfo, John Madden, and Travis Zajac combined.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Rantanen still available as well? Another guy who really took off this past season as well. ugh.

I think his ceiling is closer to 40 points than 30. I don't know if he'll hit that, but I think he's got all the tools and doesn't have any glaring weaknesses that should hold him back.

Would love for Zacha to prove you right. I just don't see it happening.

People, Zacha is top 5 on our team with talent. The points will come. And if he is a 30 pt player, so what. He plays great defensively so maybe he'll become our pando.
His excellent shot wont just disappear.
His excellent, slick passing is so underrated that wont magically disappear.

Let him play his game.

Like the other dude said, if you get so hard over Barzal or Prov go become a philly or islander fan.

Honestly, Zacha needs to be around a 50 pt player to be our 2C. Next, year is make it or break it for him. I hope Shero gets him PP time and sets him up with a nice line for him to succeed. Mojo should easily bounce back, he's a very consistent player and his down season was only because of the injuries. Palms would make a great RW on that 2nd line, but idk if Bratt will start on the first line again so that can happen. Hopefully, Shero has a trade up his sleeve, that will be bringing us in a top RW.
