Its the truth. First thing I do in the morning is put on a record, music in the car, music all day at work, when I get home, while we eat, after dinner.......only time there is no music on is if we're watching TV. - james_tanner1
12 hours of music is a piece of cake. I don't know how that's somehow controversial. Your use of "adverse" instead of "averse" is much more controversial. |

I think you meant night at the opera, California, nail, the mollusk, peace love death metal, party program, and small change. But I got your point - ChrisMS
Queen is OK, Tom Waits is awesome, Ween is awesome I know I'm supposed to like the Refused but I can never get into them. I sincerely hope the California reference wasn't to blink 182! |

Islanders fan here:
Calvin De Haan isn't that good. Calm down. He's a decent 3 or 4 overall. If you are counting on him as anything more than solid depth, you're counting on him for too much. |

I know we usually don’t see things the same, but it wasn’t long ago you called Leo the “best defensive forward in the NHL”?
No such thing as a music expert, if you have bad taste it doesn’t matter how many hours a day you waste listening
Cheers and (frank) it’s hot....thank god for the cottage 😑 |

There was a time when he was an elite defensive player. That time is passed. |

I don't really understand what you mean. Are you saying that real men listen to Pantera only? Cause I do like Pantera, but I don't really want to be a 'real man.' - james_tanner1

I’ll give him a bit more time, played well until Willie Kneeender backed into him...I think he tried to come back too soon and looked a little slower...but you could also be right and Father Time may have caught up to him.

The happy faces here are not warranted. This is neither funny nor a good troll job. You aren't going to get anyone mad or start an argument about whether or not 2 + 2 is indeed 4, we'll just shake our heads. - james_tanner1
Oh the climate is changing, it's just not from humans, but rather, a natural phenomenon.
You're the one who said stay away from Tavares because he won't be worth the contract he signs in due time. |

Re: Tavares, yeah I probably said and meant it. But when your favorite team adds one of the best players in franchise history, you can either push your glasses up your nose and talk about the salary cap like a pointdexter or you can dig it.
As for the other stuff, I don't have time for your flat-earth B.S, nor do I care. That is the opinion of someone truly and sadly removed from reality. You're not going to suddenly see reason and certainly I can't be convinced that every scientist in the world got it wrong but ol' leftcoaster from hockeybuzz nailed it, so why even bring it up? |

Don't you ever turn off the electronics and listen to the air, conversation or your own thoughts? Twelve hours a day of music and tv doesn't sound like listening, more like distraction wallpaper. That level of background noise would drive me insane. Ween does rule though. |

Mr bungle. Absolute masterpiece of an album. Queen is ok but night at the opera was magnificent. The others were scraping foetus off the wheel, the eagles of death metal. |

I think he was to NHL GM-ing as I am to NHL-writing.
I agree with this quote regarding Garth Snow..l.but for different reasons than you outlined. Both dip poops.
For an expert on music, why don’t you explore the underground more? Lots of great stuff that gets zero play on the mainstream or college radio. |

30-40 yrs from now, clowns like him will cry, "global cooling", just like the 70's. Notice how they had to go from "global warming" to "climate change". It was right around the time the planet reversed its heating trend. 1998 these clowns said Fla will be half under water by 2010....oops.
And Tavares will be just fine. With Mathews on the team, JT will excel. Leafs may win instead of breaking the Blue Shirts 54-year drought. I would say this clown should stick with hockey, but that isn't right either. |

Human caused global warming is a falsehood and Tavares has one of the worst contracts in the NHL, Leafs will regret it in three years - LeftCoaster
Hahahaha....well what did you expect us to do?? Dubas struck out on Jay Beagle and Dominic Roussel, so he got desperate |

So basically your opinion revolves around which team makes the move. Funny how before Tavares signs stay away but the leafs sign for more than you said and it is the greatest thing to happen. |
