You're more rational when you're back on the island.

Just read a recent interview of hers. She mentioned that she was a mean drunk. Picked fights like NuckFU used to.

I just read a quote on twitter about Benning saying he'll waive Leipsic, Goldobin and or Grandlund or trade them if he can. Is he retarded or what is the actual context he's speaking to?

Anyone know?

Cannot believe thats legit.

You can’t allow that statement to interfere with the crowd that continually calls Benning an idiot. Sure he may not of said names, but by god he actually said he would place players on waivers or send them to Utica if they can’t make the team and he can’t find a trading partner....

What is Benning thinking saying something like that out loud, my goodness what an idiot. Now every team knows Benning is trying to build a cohesive group of better hockey players. What an idiot, how dare he trade or waive a player not living up to expectations. He tried out a few players hoping the would turn into something better, but now sees that the aren’t that good and needs to cut them loose, what an idiot.

Botchford is credited around these parts as being pretty much a clown, especially by Don, now Don wants to quote him on his comments about a Sutter trade
- Pacificgem

Botch can be quite the clown but he makes sense at times. Reporters often say what they think. Not many are in tight like Friedman or BobMac.

I still pine for the days of Nick Bonino, who is a terrific interview. I don't think he was given a fair shake during his one year here in Vancouver.

That being said, I do think Sutter has trade value. His name still carries weight with the old-school types, he skates well and he plays with the kind of responsibility that coaches love.

I'll probably talk about this in a future blog as summer wears on: in my perfect world, enough Canucks players step up that he's expendable by the trade deadline, when he'd be a good add for some team's playoff run.

- Carol Schram

Sutter would fetch a good TDL return.
As for who steps up i can see some of that but at C its our weakest depth. AG could be quite fine but still leaves us weak. Idk if EP will be a C just yet but wouldn’t hurt to find out during the season. Just takes time to adjust to demands at C & the rigors of 82 games but it is more room than on the wing.

From where I stand the roster is shaping up to be rather poopy. No matter how many times you rearrange it.

Gillis's fault and it would look better if it wasn't for the injuries.

what is the statute of limitations on Gillis’ negative impact on this team?
