I have said many times that this will be a 7- 9 year rebuild, my apologies if I seam impatient, I am not.
This team is headed in the right direction as far as i am concerned.

I think my point is about the mess label. There have been a lot of teams over the years you could say you didnt want to expose the prospects to until its sorted out. Infighting, drugs, a black hole for goal tending, misbehaviour on the ice, coach tuned out, a fan base turning on the team every game. The Canucks are none of this.

We are just a poor team right now. That is hardly a thing to protect the kids from. Historically, high drafted players go to teams that are bottom feeders. Our situation is perfectly normal to a kid drafted low each round.
