Happened on his property, there were security cameras, this isn't a rape case, she wouldn't have to testify with video evidence.

Again I am not saying he did or didn't do it, but money doesn't talk this fast.

- Stripes77

That's assuming there is video evidence though. Just because there may be cameras doesn't mean they caught anything, and if they did if it was conclusive. I doubt the guy who did it said "LeSean sent me."

Edit: The Kane thing happened on Kane's property.

Are there 10 teams in the CFL?

I was just joking

No idea... haha

I pretty much figured you were though.. let’s hope the “vet” wins the job to at least start the year.... at least preseason will be worth watching now, hopefully we see a bunch of growth from Allen to the end of preseason.... unless he is clearly the best qb though camp he should sit at least 3/4 of the year. If the o-line is as bad as I expect he should sit the whole year.

I want Peterman to play. I don't really have a good reason why, other than he's more interesting to me than McCarron. If Peterman wins the job, and can achieve a Kyle Orton level of success while keeping Allen from being thrust into this mediocre lineup, I'd be happy

4 years won't be on the table. It makes him a UFA after the deal.

I still see Sam betting on himself, and opting for the shortest bridge deal he can get out of JB.

- Lunaion

Won't 3 years make him a UFA also? Capfriendly says you can become UFA at 25 so if that is true it will either have to be a 2 year deal or long term deal, I wouldn't want to sign him to a deal that makes him a UFA because there is a good chance he continues to get better and just walks when the contract is over. If I am wrong please let me know.

If there’s a good chance he continues to get better why not try to lock him up long term at a good number now?

You need 7 years pro, so however old you are at that time, or be 27, whichever comes first. 42 games counts as a year toward UFA I think. 1 more than Grigorenko played his rookie year; that's why he was sent down when he was. Burning a year off his ELC was fine, they did not want him to accrue a year toward UFA.

As for the second part, he can sign whatever deal is legal under the CBA, 1-8 years. UFA has no bearing, except that if UFA years are part of it the deal likely increases in value to offset the loss to the player. It's pretty standard.

I completely agree. I would rather risk getting him on a good, cheap, long term, deal, then have him explode and need to pay him DRAISAITL money in 2 years or so.

Classy letter from O'Reilly:

"When I was traded here I had no idea what to expect. I was blown away by how much this city has to offer and all of the amazing people I met. I feel very privileged that I was able to call Buffalo my home."

O'Reilly was traded to the St. Louis Blues on July 1 in the only 5-for-1 transaction in Sabres history. His message was posted on the Twitter feed of "The Instigators," the Sabres' daily radio show, and was retweeted by the club's official account.

O'Reilly thanked owners Terry and Kim Pegula and then returned his thoughts to the fans.

"To the people of Buffalo, your unwavering support for your teams is inspirational," he said. "You even made me a Bills fan! I also want to thank you for being so good to me and my family. I know we didn't get the result you wanted but you are in great hands and have a bright future."

I wish him the best. It's a damn shame it didn't work out here

Doesn't it bother any one that sam had such an inconsistent season? 1st half / 2nd half

No way the Sabres management should be sold on him.

Give him a 2/3 year deal and if he does well, pay him more.

Otherwise you are looking at possibly another okposo contract.

Not particularly, because he's had 5 of 6 good halves.

And even if you say he's not as bad as the first half of the year and he's not as good as the second half you still end up pretty much at his first 2 years.
