Matthew Fairburn posted an article on The Athletic rounding up what we know so far. ESPN has some of the same information. Here's some excerpts from Fairburn's article:

I agree with Stripes that this looks increasingly fishy as more facts come out.

I am not saying he is guilty or he is innocent.

I am just saying this seems really fishy and weird.

Something is off here and we might never know the truth but it just doesn't make any logical sense

Agreed. Right now it looks like the two options are: (1) Shady hired a dude to rob his own house and beat up the woman he was suing to evict from the house or (2) the woman he was suing to evict from the house hired a dude to make it look like #1 happened. I guess there's also a third option: She was burglarized and assaulted by the perpetrator but thinks Shady was behind it when he really wasn't.

Both options are weird, and given that Shady was in another state when this incident happened, this is one time we really need to just wait for information to come out and let things to play out.

Whatever happened probably can't be explained by rational-thinking people, so I'm not even going to try. Of course, that means it might be right up Gerbe's alley.

This is from the last blog but it gave me a good laugh so I thought I would move it to this one. Very Funny and pretty True. POTD

Also, Given Taxes Kucherov will make more than $10M more than Tavares after Taxes with $2M less of a Cap Hit (No I am not counting the 8th year just 7 years of it). And people think Mathews will take less $ in Toronto where he will take home about Half of Whatever his contract is for, after taxes. Damn No-State Tax teams get all the breaks.

I always question whether these analyses take all the appropriate taxes into consideration. Yes it’s true that half of the games are played at home so the home taxes have an overwhelming effect on comparative tax burdens. But states and cities impose income tax on any income earned there, whether the earned resides there or not. So any player who plays in Buffalo owes NYS income tax on the money earned playing in Buffalo, regardless whether he’s a Sabre or their opponent. Any player who plays in Madison Square Garden owes NYS income tax and NYC income tax whether they’re a Ranger or the visiting team.

So I alwayspresume these tax analyses are oversimplified

Because Gerbe wants so bad for him to be innocent, because he's, well, the running back of the Buffalo Bills.

He wasn't there and she pulled the security cameras out
Yeah that doesn't sound fishy at all

What are you saying...that she planned the whole thing ? Had the cameras pulled out and had someone come over and beat the crap out of her - on purpose ?

The greatest hockey movie of all time just came on NHL Network and wasn’t even mentioned when that topic was up for debate on here. Smh, thought you guys were better than that.

This all depends upon 'how many rows up from the ice' you are sitting.

I don’t agree with that
U could be focused on what’s going on with the puck & not notice what the goalie is doing
Or be focused on one particular player & not notice what a certain other guy is doing

If you go to the games and then watch the games on DVR, is it ok to form an educated opinion? Wouldn't that give you the best of both worlds?

My point was, you can see more at the games in regards to what risto is doing to opponents. Especially other teams stars.

When you watch the games on tv, YOU SEE WHAT THE CAMERA IS SHOWING YOU.

Why does everything with you turn into some long drawn out stupid arguement? I wasn't even discussing this with you.

- Boss34

Never said u couldn’t form an educated opinion from being at the games

YOU said that if u aren’t there,
u don’t see as much

But u can still see more than enough on tv to form a reasonably educated opinion

And just like u miss some stuff on tv,
U miss some stuff live as well

3ER was the only human capable of prognosticating the outcome of last year's Bills season. Just another log on the fire. Like they always say, 3ER isn't always right, but aint ever been wrong.

I implied: that when I go to the games, i really enjoy watching risto play hockey. I also like risto when i watch him on tv.

A player can't mearly be judged on points.
Although points are a universal measuring system.

He is constantly throwing players (like ovi) off their game and chasing them around.
I'm not sure if anyone can see everything he brings to the game on television.

Dude is a beast.
And sometimes sloppy in his own end
