Which teams in the east are they going to beat? - Aetherial
the habs and islanders, on paper, are WAAAAYYYY worse
other than that, i don't think they beat anyone (depending on teh return for karlsson) |

Don't be silly. Matthews had the size to translate.
I dare you to point to a single USNDPT player under 6 feet to make a difference at the NHL level, or contribute in any way to a cup win or 3. - Feeling Glucky?
I can think of at least one...

The Sabres will be better next year, but there's still a lot of holes on that team. |

those players, and more, go regardless.....and you add conditional draft picks if the extension is in question.
even one year of karlsson is worth more than one elite prospect - sensarmy_11
yeah, i though it goes without saying it would be ++ if karlsson comes with an extension in hand.
i just don't see getting a top prospect if it's only one year. i'll agree to disagree. |

Ryan stays. We will need to reach cap floor. Not really sure what to expect with other moves.
I would like to see bellville and ottawa streamline their coaching. Same systems both places. Make the pipeline flow with ease. Brings up the boucher question. What will he become? The ball is in his court |

I agree 100%
Sadly, right now without Karlsson, Ottawa has at best the 25th best roster (RIGHT NOW)
Formenton, Batherson, Brown, Chabot, White, Tkachuk aren't ready yet.
Maybe White + Chabot can have an impact but this is just stupid |

Is that actually true? I joked the other day about that.
That could actually blow up In his face. The Panthers will be better this season, & as good as Tampa is on paper, Cooper is still the coach. - Aussiepenguin
Haha no, I read that, was a good joke

If they were to actually fight (not that either can fight), I'm not going to lie my money would be on Hoffman |
