It's gonna be a long couple months before camp, I've got nothing to complain about right now
Just reading about the PP for next year, last year they actually finished 9th overall on the PP, very good! They lost 54 PP points from the Sedins and Vanek though, that's a lot of PP points.
Hopefully Horvat, Boeser and Pettersson can make up some of those points and help the PP stay strong. Second unit could be troublesome though, talent is pretty thin after that. - LeftCoaster
I’m sure Sutter and Beagle will be out there on the PP intangibling the puck into the net. |

Anyone else been having problems with this site, the last 4 or 5 days i have been having to reload regularly - Reubenkincade
“this page had to reload because of an unknown error” - or some such nonsense. It’s all the stupid ads I think.
Seems to work better on the mobile version on my phone than on the full site version. |

Our PP could look like a lesser version of Tampa or Washington. Pettersson has a good shot but can also set up plays. Boeser is the same (better shooter than playmaker). Horvat as net front. Edler (would prefer Hughes) and I guess Baertschi in the middle? - 93Nucks
Might be an idea for EP to get double duty.
Not much else for playmaking. Triggers we kind of have but no point threat. EP could switch back to F after starting on the PP1 point. |

Boeser was pretty much playing the whole 2 minutes at the left point last year before he got hurt. |

He could double up as needed. Goldy & Sven are compliments maybe Gagner fits in there somewhere. |

Sutter & Beagle lines pick up the slack when the kids get PP & O-zone starts
A line like Goldy Sutter LE could flourish more if the 3rd line. Starts with the kids drawing the checking lines. |

Baertschi Horvat Boeser-tried n tested
Dhalen Gaudette Pettersson-swede meatball
Leipsic Sutter Virtanen-like the speed
Roussel Beagle Schaller-in your face
- LeftCoaster
An ideal line-up if a few things fell into place. Gagner traded, LE injured, Granny in the press box. I’ve thought on similar but tied to a healthy group gets in the way. |

Should trade Goldy for a vet. He's too inexperienced. |

So Van loses 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 from last season. Wondered who was going to score after losing 2, 3 and 5 was traded. Take away another 107 points.

You forgot the 6 million dollar man - VANTEL
Isn't the rule all line ups have to have LE and SG in them?
Replace Dahlen in the opening day line up with LE and I don't have any problem with that roster. LE is bound to get injuried, Dahlen will get his chance. |

Truthfully I don't mind the three UFA signings this year. They will bring it every night.
The signings I don't like are Sven Gagner Eriksson who disappear for weeks |

I honestly don't mind Stecher as a bottom pairing dman for the team right now - Nucker101
Same here. I only defend parts of his game because they are misrepresented by haters. I like him better in our top 6 than Hutton for what ever that is worth.

I hope Hutton has a better year. At least to the point where he has enough value that they can trade him for a 5th rounder. |

You're an eternal optimist, if Benning had signed a player to play with him that was capable of offense then I might buy it, as it is he's proven to be as good a GM as his hair is real. - Pres.cup
They are not chasing success this season so why not get on board with that? One more top 10 pick seems like the desire. I'm on board with it and then replace JB with a GM capable of building around a promising foundation of talented young players without squandering it.... I've been preaching that since he was hired. Draft until we shed the Sedins and then move to a GM who isnt a one trick pony(drafting). Things are behind no doubt but I can see the process.
