Pretty accurate to what Stecher should get, maybe add a year and bump it up to 4mill

I know I don't think he is great at scouting at all.

GM’s have too much to do other than scout the prospects, just like us fans. The scouts take over the draft table after the top 50 or so. Which scouts have the most influence and what they’re god to look for is on the GM though

I do give Benning credit for promoting Brackett and drafting for speed/skill in recent drafts.

JV BB OJ EP & Hughes 1st rounders.
Not bad but some rightfully wish it better.
Still time for it to get better.

I guess it comes down to rating JB & his scouts on round 2 & later.

Lind Gads Woo in the 2nd jury is out
Demko in the 3rd looks very nice.
AG in the 5th might be a steal
Rathbone is interesting.
As for others Brisebois Lockwood Palmu etc idk but welcome thoughts or projections.

Overall we have some WOW factor but safe to say we hunger for much more.

I would tell Stecher 1.5 take it or leave it. If he says no , promote Pouliot and bring in Chatfield

Im not to high on Chatfield, id give Stech 2.5 for 4 years. He's a hard worker I could see it paying off way more then Pouliot and Hutton

If it comes down to hard work thats Stechers only card he can play then. Biega plays hard. If Hutton did that he bumps Stecher. We don’t need meat & potatoes what we need is results & only talent can do that.

So what exactly can Stecher max out at?
Idk if he can score much or at all. He is a digger & doesn’t quit but not a banger. So a bottom 6 D is my projection if we had 5 to bump him down. Right now thats a NO.

Regardless of the F lines its D where we sink or swim & its been a longtime problem at that. Its getting brighter but far from great let alone good. Hughes & OJ gotta be legit good or we are in for a prolonged rebuild. Only drafting is gonna help us or the prospects do something amazing. No saviours are on the horizon til we get a gamebreaker or 2. EP might fill that role but needs a ton of support throughout the line-up. That amounts to tons of wishful thinking & hoping we can score a ton upfront. Idk if thats realistic but funnier things have happened.

I find it hilarious that anyone would want to pay an undersized non physical defender that scored 1 goal 11 points 2 million to 3 million dollars
