Hi James, I thought I'd offer my 2 cents here. I read a few of your articles because I was intrigued by the titles (I'm a leafs fan myself) and I actually found some of them quite interesting. But then I did find myself in the comments and constantly see people ripping on you. I think part of the reason is your blogs are extremely opinionated, so much so that all I can see in this article is extreme negativity and your hatred for everything that the capitals management has done lately (as fans we've all been there at some point). I think reading blogs/articles that others have written about the transactions/players might help you understand another perspective and even if you disagree with that opinion you may be able to include these other views and it will help balance your blogs so it's not 100% one sided. Best of luck with your future blogs.

They are opinionated and he purposely makes ridiculous arguments. Throw in a dose of belligerence, a TON of arrogance, a little bit of humor, movie comments and music videos and you get some hits.

Don't confuse his bullpoop for actual thought or knowledge though. There is nothing that suggests he is attempting to be a serious hockey writer.

To be fair to Buston, he did struggle with multiple injuries all year. That's hockey. Let's see if he can bounce back next year and stay healthy.

Tanner knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He makes outlandish, belligerent, opinionated statements that infuriate people that understand hockey and gets tons of hits.

If you don't like him, the only thing to do is not read or respond to him.

James, James, James. Where to start?

Kempny found himself in a top four role with the champs. He was a key piece that helped turn around the fortunes for the Caps. Prior to his trade Bowey had been in the line up and had been horrendous. If not for the Kempny trade I don't see the Caps winning one round of hockey. He was that important. Can he keep up the pace in the future? We will see. The Caps just don't have anyone in their system to take his place so it was a very solid resigning.

Also, I don't get your hate for Tom Wilson? The guy is a force that can single handily change the way a team plays the Caps. Does he play on the edge at times? Sure he does but he is a player that any team would kill for. He does need to work on his offensive side of the game but he did manage 15 points in 21 playoff games this past playoffs. Not too shabby I would say. Look for GMBM to lock him up to a 5 year deal plus in the coming days.

The Caps are tying up some lose ends and with the Orpik buyout will need to look to resign him on the cheap or look for another veteran d man. They can take this slow and steady as they have now accomplished the ultimate goal.
