I couldn't believe this guy is still the GM. The way he speaks about things, the answers - on "leaders" older guys coming in, being as good as two years ago (he didn't even say that they will be or try to be) - his answers are soo boring. The guy traded AWAY a hart winner, he needs to go, he's not the guy that puts a championship team together IMO, not anymore

Chiarelli can't draft. He took over as GM in 2006 (chara + savard were great signings)

but players like Bergeron, Krejci, Versteeg, Lucic, Marchand were already drafted by then.

His drafts 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 ALL garbage. Only pick that required though was Hamilton, and even he fell into his lap.
2012, 2013 both trash. Benning he brought over. What else does boston have , I'll give him credit for Pastrnak.

We'll see how he does but scouting is too important and that's just one thing. Not like he's great at trading.

Hate to break it to you but Alife isn't King that would be Henrik Lundqvist. I actually feel bad that Alfie wasted his career in Ottawa when he could have lived the life in Detroit with all the good Swedes at the time.

You guys went too far, Scott. We have writers here depending on income. It's a site to talk hockey. Nothing more. It's sad what has happened to the EDM forums. They used to be good hockey talk.
