I think you're missing a few really good kids on that list.
Tkachuk
Bernard-Docker
Tychonick
Gruden
Thomas Chabot
Colin White
Logan Brown
Filip Chlapik
Drake Batherson
Filip Gustavsson
Alex Formenton
Gabriel Gagne
Nick Paul
Christian Jaros - LeftCoaster
I'm not that impressed with that list though. It's not a bad thing, they are only 1 year removed from the playoffs and this was their first top 5 pick. In essence, most of those guys maybe have potential to be NHL players, but how many teams hit on all their guys? Not overly impressed with chlapiks ahl numbers. White seems like he can be an effective guy.
Also, playing in a conference with Tampa, Boston and the leafs makes it that much harder for Ottawa to make the playoffs. |

I like this Ennis deal, can be sent down to not go against the cap. Could be a rebound player.
Also, for you Maroon haters...It probably takes the Leafs out of the running.
So. 5 mil left without using LTIR. Trade for Faulk - Santo_44
No faulk. I'd rather trade Gardiner for assets and use those assets + to try and get trouba. |

Trading Gardiner is a sideways move, we need to stop with this.
We need to add. |

If it leads us to getting someone younger and who can play top pair with rielly, I don't think it's a sideways move at all. They could flip Gardiner only if they can land trouba, and then trade for faulk as well. It'll cost less to acquire faulk than what we get for Gardiner. |

We have some excellent D prospects, both of which were projected to go sooner in the draft than they did.
Let's leave room for some Marlies grads on the bottom pairing, see if any can push their way into the top 4. |

Too much to give up, Gardiner is a good d and creates a hole.
Unless they are adding two D in this it's a sideways move.
Add Faulk, then see what you have in Liljegren, Dermott by the TDL/offseason. |

Two years until they make a real impact.
Get a D signed for two years. Decide between him and Gardiner...promote the prospects |

Add trouba and faulk, trade Gardiner. Simple. Liljegren probably won't be on the team till the following season. |

Tkachuk - good but over rated
Bernard-Docker - who knows
Tychonick -who knows
Gruden- long shot
Thomas Chabot - very good
Colin White - no offense
Logan Brown - too slow
Filip Chlapik- no offense
Drake Batherson - ok
Filip Gustavsson - ok
Alex Formenton - no offense
Gabriel Gagne - garbage
Nick Paul - garbage
Christian Jaros- garbage - LeftCoaster
It's a really weak list

If it was this simple teams would of traded for Trouba already
He demanded a trade and held out ....still couldn't get a deal done. Deals aren't easy as NHL 18....people need to realize it |

Anybody ever think about the other Nylander? The Sabres dont seem to have too much love for him.I see him in alot of their trade ideas and wonder about what it would cost or what would be a good trade for him.Maybe he just needs a change of scenery or system.
Just thinking out loud, maybe not. |

Oh they are too...trade Nylander for a number 1 RHD under 25, see it's easy. We should trade for what's his name, that guy from that team. |

That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, that he'd have to think about trading Matthews for Ekblad. |

When I heard they signed Ennis I laughed out loud and said 'why?'
Can anyone tell me why? Are we also signing the Gionta brothers for an all midget 4th line?
Does Dubas honestly look at this as a NHL move or just securing a repeat AHL cup? |

Low risk depth move. Give Mitch someone to push around to feel tough now that Martin's gone. |

We replaced the marlies top line center with a small left winger? Hmmm. Well aren’t you a smart cookie. Nothing more
The signing to me has more to do with competiton for the two open lw positions. Now we watch Johnsson, leivo, Ennis, Grundstrom fight for spots. |

I was surprised by Aaltonen or his agents decision. He had a legitimate, I might even say he was slotted in for that 4th line C position - and he loses patience and bails out. Or was there somehitng more to this...? |

Probably didn’t want to make piss for money playing AHL again if he didn’t make it, can’t really blame him. Maybe he didn’t like it over here and wanted to go home |
