“He had a tough start with his injury and then we got him back and he started going off and started playing well and then he went off to the World Junior and played really well there,” Taylor said. “And then he came back, got a little injured again, it was tough, and then he really picked it up; his game really got going. He’s doing a lot of good things and working at his game and that’s why he got the recall (late in the season). It’s not just because he’s a first-rounder and the Sabres were out, he earned his call-up and he scored a goal so it’s great to see.”
