Faulk getting moved? - Nighthawk
Interesting signing seeing that Hanifin will probably get just as much and is younger. |

Quinn Hughes likely won’t turn pro unless the Canucks present him with a realistic path to make the team out of training camp, and to do so they can’t have 8 D-men on one-way deals
Hopefully this is true.

100% agree. Send him back. He can dominate then come next season when they have sorted out the mess that is the defense. |

Anisimove is a better center than Gagner . The last two names I heard thrown out to play 2C are Sutter or Gagner so I think Anisimov is an upgrade - VANTEL
would rather have picks |

I'm with you on that. I'm willing to cut JB and his staff a lot of slack...I'm sure there is lots that fans (like me) do not know about that goes on...but his UFA signings sure eliminated much of the positivity that I had (as a fan) following the draft.
As was commented on previously, there are a lot of 3rd & 4th line players taking up roster space, who are going to end up on the 2nd line squeezing out what little "future" the team can put onto the ice.
Maybe they will turn out fine, and provide a positive / safe environment for the kids. Maybe. I want to see the flip side of those signings, which is to clear some roster space for some of the kids -- EP, JV, AG, Lipstick, Goldy, Dahlen. Those are the guys (along with Bo & Brock, and eventually OJ, Hughes & Demko) that I'd pay to see. - SlightlyOffside
I really think they know they are 3-4th line guys but they are also way better then our current 3-4 line guys. A few more goals from back their frees up the pressure. It’s an upgrade that will be good when ship guys out. PP time still open |

This.
Keep the kid in college.
by the looks of things virtually every team has gotten better that was bottom 6 last year except for Ottawa and Vancouver.
Oilers and Canadaians SHOULD be better. Flames, Yotes, Wings, Canes, Panthers... all better.
If anything, Hughes makes us better. So send him down, Let him dominate. Have a cellar battle with the Sens for last. And pray to god We actually have a shot at the brother |

I think Hughes would be better off dominating in the AHL than NCAA. But college won't hurt him either. |

No clue. But if they did....have at errr. What do you think of Granny at C? I realize they like him at W, but he has played C.
LE Granny EP?
For some strange reason I think LE and EP will mesh well together. I know others have mentioned the same here. This is the extent of my line combos. I'm not into posting lines. Not with this team. Give me Jack Hughes and guys like Dahlen and Gaudette becoming full timers.... then I'll post some lines. |

Granlund is a fill in not a top 6 regular. I think his contracts are reflective of how mgmt feel |
