1. None of the "veteran" players will be waived, their spots are safe.
2. Track record is not good on acquiring picks.
3. As few goals as Gaunce has scored, he is as good or better than most of the 4th line guys this organization has had over the past several years. It would be a shame to loose him for nothing. Not the end of the world, but it wouldnt be moving the team forward. - 1970vintage
I agree with this. I do think people are going to like Beagle, he's pretty close to what Malholtra was when he came in. A true pro. Schaller was probably one too many. It's going to be tough if we lose someone for nothing, that I totally agree with. I'm hoping they make a move or two. I like this years' additions a bit more than Gagner. I could see Sven getting dealt. Sutter as well. Press box rather than being sent down. It does take pretty much everyone but Boeser out but I'm guessing Maybe they made a internal decision to send AG and EP down to Utica to start the year unless they blow them out of the water. |

He was a beast for sure, but I doubt he, or Kamensky or Ozolinš were anyones favorite player during the Sakic/Forsberg era. - 1970vintage
I would disagree.

Forsberg was first ballot. Lindros had to wait until what last year? year before? Great player, didn't win and got his career cut short. Not in the same class IMO, but not for lack of skill. Just was a idiot enough to think he was invincible. |

It always makes me smile when I see someone say "I don't care" either preceded by questioning or complaining about exactly the thing they're supposed to not care about or followed up with a continued biting on the issue |

Yes his off ice stuff certainly affected people's vote/opinion of him, however, he was every bit the player Peter Forsberg was for sure. |

No need to throw stones, you literally said you are willfully ignorant on the subject and don't care to learn. It's not arrogance to point it out. |

Maybe JB is getting ready to shock us all and send LE down to Utica. |

If Tampa Bay is gonna go after Karlsson, Jimbo should take Tyler Johnson off their hands. |

this to me is a perfect time for Benning to call up Yzerman, ask him if he needs to make some room for Karlsson, and ask him what he would offer to take some cap space. |

In my house growing up it was all about Lafleur and Canadiens. To me that’s what hockey was. Too young to really get what the Flyers did. Then came NYI and Bossy. Whole new hockey world for me. |
