Calgary don't look good either. - VANTEL
What?? Calgary just got WAY better - James Neal, Elias Lindholm, Derek Ryan and Hanifin to replace Hamilton, Ferlund, Fox
their top 9 are:
Monahan, Backlund, Bennett, Ryan - C
Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Neal, Frolik, Lindholm, Jankowski(10) wingers
Andersson, Kylington, Valimaki (D) Dube and Parsons all knocking at the door |

Yup, I agree. He set himself up to make some trades this year, I offered this opinion too but there's just too much hate for JB here. - neem55
Well idk what ppl expected with JB other than gripe when around the league other GM’s are not any better.
The Habs are a mess & MB has a job still.
- inherited Price & done nothing
Wasn’t long ago Sakic was a target.
- lucked out on MacKinnon
Dorion well say no more.
NYI a joke for years.
Chevy it took years to be a PO team.
Leafs lucked out Matthews.
Wings have Holland still.
Oilers luck out on McDavid.
Flames are stuck in quicksand.
Yotes are a hockey graveyard.
Canes are another graveyard.
The list goes on & on yet we had a large turnover from NTC & NMC’s & the prospect pool is finally filling up & continuing. I really don’t ubderstand ppl who say patience & don’t exercise much. There has been no selling of the farm or catastrophic blunders.
I list very few teams in great shape or very solid as being Nashville, Toronto, TBL, Boston, Pittsburgh. Toss in some other teams who look good but still disappoint in the PO’s. Overall we are heading in the right direction if only ppl would chill instead of thinking someone out there is an instant fix for management or coaching to make some miracle moves. Who are they? |

I was good with Rousell, Schaller and Archie. Beagle signing is horrific. Overall, I am fine with the signings as I have trouble supporting such a soft team. We needed some grit so Boeser and Pettersson don't get injured 10 games into the season. Also forces some prospects to Utica which is good. This team will be trash for at least another two years. When we are competitive again, trade or buyout the veteran scraps. No big deal - CanuckDon
True its all part of the process & its fluid while the journey is about the future. For me it truly begins in the 2019-20 season to see real growth & results & improving beyond that. Thus next season we should get a lil taste of some of that. Lots is left to transpire as kids develop. |

Hanifin & Lindholm yet to sign let alone cap space troubles. Trades are needed & they both needed to sign or flipped if not.

According to Capfriendly, and I don't know if it has been posted or not. Only Roussel has a MNTC. Beagle has nothing
EDIT:Well disregard that |

We should have a new GM for the 19-20 season. |

They have nearly 13 mil in cap space, main RFA's are Lindholm, Jankowski, Hathaway, Hanifin & Kulak, seems doable with a couple bridge contracts - someone might have to go, but these are good problems to have. |

Agree but bridge contracts for Hanifin & Lindholm probably unlikely. If they offer it then over a barrel whether they like it or not sending a very poor message. Its ill advised imo |

Hockey isn’t a box of chocolates 😂
You want an orator or a hockey mind?
Firing is easy to say but with no replacement in mind makes no sense at all. It amounts to rhetoric not an answer. |

When it comes down to TL as a president i can see a change if he isn’t driving the bus very well. Cap contol & revenues & his hirings below him dictate his fate. He can be replaced easy enough. By whom idk & that contradicts me asking for names. As for a GM or Coach i abstain til its a problem or a better option comes around. None are available at this time imho. So its stay the course & let the dust settle. |

Overall scouting & management hires throughout the system have greatly improved. Utica is looking in very good hands. We see more direction on the farm than ever seen before. Backone for the future looks bright. |
