I'm surprised this blogger is still getting so much crap. Same guy for a few years that posts everyday...a lot of us started going straight to the messages a long time ago.

The Pens of course. TB's defense isn't great. Washington will still be drinking. Philly has no D. Toronto would be interesting but not experienced that deep in the playoffs (unlike Vegas playing in a weaker West, it'll matter).

If Karlsson stays I may predicting the Sens to be a bubble team. I'll say bottom 3 will be Detroit, Islanders, & buffalo. Special mention to Yotes, Hawks & the Oil.

Pens will definately be up there barring injuries. Tampa will get a coaching change - AV.

I'd prefer it to be maybe $1M cheaper, but the guy produces. Given our lack of proven LW depth, I'm good with it.

FWIW, I'd put our D against yours all day any day. Out goaltending is the issue.

Rutherford did mention he's not closed the door on a trade. Said teams that didn't get what they wanted in FA will now look to the trade market over the next 2-4 weeks. I don't think he's done either.

We're still sitting on two assets that several teams need. A young goalie with starting potential and a good 2nd line center.

I don't want to part with either, but bringing back Cullen is kind of a strange move. If someone wants to overpay, I'd consider moving Brass.
