Uhh obviously the best player in the world is going to make more than some average player? Matthews is very average and Tavares is overrated. Never going to win a cup with two people that don't know how to win when it comes to the playoffs. Enjoy your dumpster fire of a franchise. Draisaitl is just as good as Tavares making 3 mil less a year and Mcdavid is wayyyyy better only making 1.5m a year more. Bargains now after that horrible signing
