3 years ago people were saying DD was getting paid too much at 2.5 AAV

Similar players to him now are getting paid at 3 per season. If DD was still playing his 2.5 would look good.

That’s why I can live with Roussel

Beagle isn’t in that same mold

It’s the feather in Garth Snows cap. I he gets another job.... he’ll probably be tsn’s next ‘expert’ beside Craig button

I fully agree but Beagle lets you move Sutter and get a good draft pick and save 1 mil per year

They shoulda gave him a TDL ultimatum

To lose an asset that valuable for nothing when you weren’t even in a playoff spot at the TDL is just horrible

Will you change your opinion if Sutter isn’t moved?

I’ll change mine if this does lead to a Sutter trade

I have no problem with Roussel either.

Beagle. Centers are more expensive. A 2-3 year term would have been better.

Even by UFA Center standards, the contract is inflated. Sutter already plays the shutdown C role here.

Roussels cap hit, role, age, are way more appropriate than beagles. Maybe a year or 2 more than i had hoped but tack on a year in exchange for going to a bottom 5 team.

Beagles contract is ugly imo. If we went roussel and schaller and called it a day, no one could complain TOO much over Bennings day

Then I hate this even more

We all saw Sutter used like Kesler under WD and it wasn’t pretty. Green had him in the right role and he was effective.

There are videos of fans burning their Tavares jerseys. He will need bodyguards in that town.
