All the defensemen are signing back with their teams, outside of EK most likely. Teams looking for a defenseman will ask about Weber. And he may ask for a trade at some point. Why would he wants to deal with a rebuild at his age?

if they are serious about the future, there is really no other choice than to trade all 3 of them (Patch, Weber and Price) for picks and prospects and tank for real for the next few years.
otherwise it's a job half done, like the first 6 years of MB trying to build a contender. yes he traded for Weber, but then stopped and never got the #1C he needed. job half done.
let's not make the same mistake with the rebuild.
