Good deal for St-Louis. They didn't have to give up Thomas, Kyrou nor Kostin... |

Doesnt this imply otherwise? «Je ne suis pas prêt à dire qu'on fait une reconstruction. On amène des joueurs de calibre ligue nationale, sans donner nos choix» Marc Bergevin. I'm not satisfied until Weber or Pacioretty are traded. - apex123
bergeidiot can play the French media however he likes. they are all dumb enough to believe that the canadiens need to have a French coach, a French g.m. and French superstar to succeed in their little bubble market. and even though it's obvious that bergefuk is fools gold, us fans see what's really what. if beregedummy was honest, he would tell the French media the truth. but that is not the canadiens way. the bottom line is that bergefuk just can't admit that his tenure has been a failure. if he had the balls, he would come clean. but he can't admit to the French media and their following that his lack of judgement has led to the demise of the organization even though it is obvious for us all to see. the only thing left for this diot g,m. to do is trade the 3 assets that will advance the program. pacioretty, weber and price. the only question is if this bergemoron is the right person to do it. |

Completely agree... Only one question, can you realistically think of 1 single team who would consider trading for Price right now? |

Why would they agree to take both Berglund and Sabotka? Especially Berglund with 4 more years... |

Berglund is there to insulate middlestat, and he can be traded at some point, if needed. |

Quick question since you troll these threads more than any other leaf fan. If the Leafs dont win the cup next season, is the scrutiny higher or are the excuses greater?

with all due respect, could never expect a coyotes fan to come close to understanding the nuances of a canadiens fan. |

I say (frank) no, Bergepoop is not the man for the job, but Molson isn't going to want to flush millions down the toilet in firing him and hiring someone else. Price is untradeable right now, and even if he has a Vezina caliber year, I don't think he'll fetch as much as the other two. Goalie is just not a valuable position to deal from, even less so than wing. |

As long as MB holds the fort by not making big long-term signings and doesn't (frank) up more trades, then he can sit there for a year or so until it is more financially viable to have a replacement. That being said Molson should be looking for the next GM now and putting him in place as either a VP or the President, to takeover when MB is kicked to the curb.
I don't think they trade Price, regardless, but Weber and Patches can go. |

You think Weber gets one of the return every star player getting moved seems to go for? The roster player, good prospect and 1st round pick package? |
