i'm not sure what the leafs landing tavares has to do with buffalo, but that would be a good trade for both teams.

sabres need to shore up their defense and would be happy to get rid of moulson.

Thats a good point. The D is terrible so if the Canucks sell Tanev they need 110 cents on the dollar or it better to have him play 53 games or whatever his bird bones can handle.
