Sorry, just assumed it was since they always want a subscription for their articles.

No worries. TBN basically gutted its entire sports department (Buffalo Rumblings wrote a story about what happened). Initially that seemed like good news because Bucky and Sullivan left and were junk. But with all the other departures, that means it's also basically Harrington and whatever else is left, so the awfulness is probably even more concentrated than it was before.

The Athletic scooped up Vogl. They also brought on Kris Baker and Tim Graham among others for the Buffalo site. Overall, they've assembled a pretty solid stable of journalists for Bills and Sabres coverage. They also have some pretty big names for national sports coverage on the main site.

The plus to the subscription model is there are no ads, popups, or auto-play videos. It also means there's no click bait like the crap that makes up 75% of ESPN since clicks don't matter.

I didn’t realize his world class shot was so widely known before I posted the info from the interview. Didn’t seem that way from the responses. I heard world class shot, you heard soft. My bad.
- Hatboro_Swords

I heard both: good shot, soft player. Still have the same concern.

Kris Baker's written and spoke about his shot for a long time. It wasn't news to me.

Talked to Hunwick's agent, Peter Fish: "I will say — and I mean this — Matt really liked coach Sullivan. He liked the guys on the team, and he’s not complaining about the opportunity he had there. I really think if Matt never got hurt, we wouldn't be in this situation right now."

Getting traded to the Sabres is a situation? Isn't Fish Eichels agent?

None taken. I assume explaining why I like something is more useful than simply saying that I like something.

And the story about what a poopshow TBN had become behind-the-scenes is actually pretty interesting, too.

No problem I just feel you shouldn’t have to pay for news that’s just a little ridiculous imo..

what happens if the kid wants to learn about a sports team but the mother and father don’t support his views on that .. you’re just losing new young fans

Yea I mentioned that a few days ago, there was no way the Habs were doing that, after ROR bonus is paid on July 1st they will have more options if they go that route.

The deal was ROR to the Blues for Fabbri, 2 scrubs and a pick. Botterill said no.

Just that the Blues have had interest and have called a few times since last month, the Habs have interest as well and mild interest from the Canes. That bonus he's owed in a few days is big deal to teams. Let's see what happens Sunday after they pay it or if they don't the deal may not be as much coming back but you can't give him away.

The winger for Eichel isn't here yet, if picks come back in a deal for ROR those can be moved also, especially if they are 1st next year. Or he keeps ROR and waits.

Sorry forgot the Ducks also, they called but the conversation was involving ROR and Perry, that's not happening. The Ducks also have a team cap when it comes to spending but Kesler is hurt so i'm sure that's why they called.
