Like I said before when they hired Dubas, it's alright to roll the dice on the young wonder genius but if the rest of the staff is a roll of the dice, I'm not sure I like it.

Re-hired. Wes Clark worked for the Leafs before, left to Florida, now he's back.

It's that it is very rare to have a 33 year old with 3 years experience as a scout to become the head of a department.

How many coaches in the NHL have coached hockey, at any level, for a total of 3 years? How many GMs have been a GM for only 3 years, at any level?

Usually, a guy works his way up the ranks before he can become the head of a department. He's been doing it for a total of 3 years. Is it not sinking in yet?

Just cause someone has done some thing doesn't mean they are good at it or better than someone who done it less time.

bodie will head a department of 4-5 pro scouts.

at 33, having been in hockey for his whole life and a scout for 3 years, he should be qualified to do that.

And it's a good thing because that's a legitimate connection to Tavares. But Wes Clark has been involved with Dubas for a long time so they probably have some good managerial chemistry together too.
