I really like the cap dump by Pittsburgh. I've been saying it for a while now that when looking to make cap space you just move the money out instead of worrying about what you can get for him.

Leafs can really lowball Minnesota if the rumour of spurgeon + cap dump of Ennis is on the table.

Martin, Gardiner and like a 5th round pick. Throw in Staal and I'll make it a 2nd round.

If it's not Ennis in the deal you'd probably have to give something else up. Gardiner is the only guy they likely take back in a trade. I'd prefer Zaitsev to be honest.

I'd do Mason(cap dump)+Myers for Martin, Mcbackup and a 2nd

Given what the Pens had to do with Sheary, the Jets could look at that. They still get a good backup and a 2nd round pick while dealing Masons cap hit. And save 6 million in cap space to sign Stastny

Nah I dont see JT in the West. I know for a fact he comes here often, which is why I think he will stay with the Islanders..and possibly Tampa due to the shortness of the flight. Actually true story here, buddy of mine at work was at shops at Don Mills 2 weeks back. He noticed someone, a person that looked really familiar, kind of like Tavares. Well it was infact Tavares, so he approached him and asked quietly (much to JT's appreciation he said) if he was him, and he smiled and said yes. Buddy asked if his son could get a picture with him and JT agreed. Whats funny is my buddy says "Ok instead of cheese, say go leafs go". JT got serious at first but laughed and said fine. Wouldnt have believed him then he showed me the pic and he also had it posted to Facebook. ..also being portutguese I know some pork chops that know some of his extended family. If not IN Toronto, he will stay close enough to it..of course I dont trust a word half of those guys say about him coming/going etc, but I do know he is close to his family.
